With profound sadness, family, friends, and loved ones are mourning the passing of Mark Richard Bebout, 55, of Wadsworth, Ohio, who died on August 21, 2026. His passing has left a deep sense of loss among those who knew him, as they reflect on the life of a man remembered for his hard work, kindness, loyalty, and devotion to the people and things he loved.
Mark was born on June 22, 1971, in Barberton, Ohio, to John Richard and Sonja Ann (Nescheff) Bebout. From his early years, he was surrounded by family values and relationships that would continue to shape the person he became.
On May 31, 1997, Mark married Pamela Welch-Bebout, beginning a marriage built on love, commitment, and shared experiences. His family remained one of the most important parts of his life, and he took great pride in the role he played as a husband, father, grandfather, son, and brother.
Mark dedicated much of his professional life to landscaping, a field where his passion, determination, and work ethic were clearly reflected. He spent 40 years working with Greenview Landscaping while also operating his own landscaping company. His commitment to his craft showed his strong sense of responsibility and pride in providing quality work for others.
In recent years, Mark expanded his professional journey into real estate alongside one of his best friends, Jimmy Miller. Those who worked with him knew him as someone who valued relationships, approached life with dedication, and built connections wherever he went.
Outside of work, Mark found happiness in the simple moments of life. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, traveling, visiting the casino, and caring for his beloved pets and dogs. Known as someone who loved to stay busy and work hard, Mark also had a welcoming personality and was remembered as a person who “never met a stranger.”
Mark’s greatest legacy will be found in the people who loved him. He will be deeply missed by his wife, Pam; daughter, Adriana Bebout; grandson, Puppy Benny; parents, John and Sonja Bebout; brother, Paul Bebout; sister, Tara Bebout; niece and nephew, Holly and Nicholas Bebout; brothers-in-law Jack Akers, Kenny Welch, and Doug Welch; and sisters-in-law Chris Welch and Kim Holcolmb.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Melissa Bebout, and his grandparents.
For those mourning Mark’s loss, the memories they shared will remain a source of comfort. His laughter, generosity, friendship, and willingness to help others are qualities that will continue to be remembered by everyone whose life he touched.
Friends and loved ones may pay their respects on Thursday, August 27, from 4 to 6 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home–Hillcrest Chapel in Seville, Ohio. A private family burial will take place at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, with a celebration of Mark’s life planned for a later date.
In honor of Mark’s love for animals, memorial contributions may be made to One of a Kind Pet Rescue in Akron.
Mark Richard Bebout leaves behind a legacy of hard work, love, friendship, and dedication. Though his passing has created a painful absence, the memories he created and the lives he influenced will continue to keep his spirit alive.
