HILLSVILLE, Va. — The Hillsville community continues to remember Dillon Michael Young, a beloved son, fiancé, brother, uncle, and companion whose life remains cherished by the family and friends who knew him. Dillon passed away on August 19, 2017, at Lewis Gale Medical Center in Salem, Virginia, at the age of 25.

Born and raised in Hillsville, Dillon was the son of Tony Dwayne and Angela Alderman Young. Family was an important part of his life, and the relationships he shared with those closest to him became some of the most meaningful parts of his story.

Dillon was engaged to Ashley Rosen of Hillsville, and their relationship represented a significant part of his life. He also shared close family connections with his brothers, Matthew Dwayne Young and Mark Aaron Young, as well as his grandparents, nephews, brother-in-law Craig Randall Rosen, and other relatives and loved ones.
