Remembering David Zamora
For those closest to David, his passing is about more than the loss itself. It is also a time to remember the personality, relationships, and moments that made him important to the people around him.
Ashley has described David as someone with a bright personality, which has influenced the way the family hopes to honor him. Rather than focusing solely on traditional mourning customs, loved ones have been encouraged to bring color and warmth to the gathering as they come together to celebrate his life.
The family’s request that attendees do not feel obligated to wear black reflects their desire for the occasion to remember David through the brightness and personality they associated with him.
Visitation and Funeral Services
After initially asking for additional time to finalize arrangements, Ashley later announced that visitation and funeral services had been scheduled for Tuesday, August 25, at Halligan McGabe.
Visitation is scheduled from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., followed by services at 5 p.m. The family has indicated that an official obituary would be published when it becomes available.
Friends, relatives, and community members preparing to attend will have an opportunity to gather, share memories, offer comfort to Ashley and the family, and celebrate David’s life.
Supporting Ashley and the Family

A fundraising appeal shared by a family member has encouraged those who are able to provide assistance to support Ashley during this period.
The family continues to express appreciation for everyone who has offered encouragement, prayers, financial assistance, and emotional support.
As the Davenport community prepares to gather in David’s memory, loved ones are choosing to focus on the life he lived, the relationships he built, and the memories he leaves behind.
